This accessibility statement applies to the https://www.xxx.fi website and has been prepared/updated on dd.mm.yyyy. 

The name of parish or parish union aims to guarantee digital accessibility equally to everyone. We are continuously improving the user experience and apply the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019).

1) The website is not yet fully compliant with accessibility requirements

Image text equivalents (alt texts): 

Text equivalents may be missing from some images or the text equivalent does not sufficiently describe the content of the image. We will fix the missing texts as soon as possible.

Image text: 

Some diagrams/event ads/images contain text, but the text is not available in an accessible format. We will add the text to the text equivalents or page content as soon as possible.

Tables: 

There may be tables with incomplete headings on our website. We will correct the issues as soon as possible. (WCAG 1.3.1) 

Broken links: 

There might be broken links on our page, and we will fix them as soon as possible. If you notice a broken link, please let us know.

Unclearly named links: 

Our website contains some links whose text does not sufficiently describe the destination of the link. We are currently editing the links to make them easier to understand.

There are shortcomings in the headings on our website. We will correct the situation as soon as possible.

Colour contrast:

The contrast between the text and the background/icons/visual presentations in some sections is not in line with the WCAG standard. We will correct the colour contrast issues as soon as possible.

Not all documents on our website are fully accessible at the moment. We will fix the files to make them accessible as soon as possible. If you notice any shortcomings, please let us know. Please use the contact details below to request the information in the documents.

Videos: 

At the moment, our videos do not have subtitles or audio descriptions. The videos on the website will be subtitled within two weeks of being published, excluding videos published before 23 September 2020, as they are not covered by the legislation.

Audio recordings (such as podcasts, recordings):

There is currently no text equivalent in our audio recordings. A text equivalent will be added to the audio recordings on the website within two weeks after being published.

Some parts of the website are not in line with the online service’s technical accessibility.

 Documents (PDF, Word, Powerpoint, Excel): 

Some of our files have been published before 23 September 2018 and are outside the scope of the Act, which means they might not be accessible. If a file is in an inaccessible format, please use the contact details below to request the information in the file.

Maps:

Some information is presented on the site using a map view. The information displayed in map form is available in an accessible text format on the website. Maps that are not meant to be used for navigation are outside the scope of the Act. (Section 3 of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services)

There are videos on our site that have been published before 23 September 2020 and that do not have subtitles or audio descriptions. (Section 17 of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services)

Audio recordings:

There are audio recordings on our website that have been published before 23 September 2020 and that do not have text equivalents. (Section 17 of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services)

Archived web content:

There is web content on the site that has been archived before 23 September 2020 and is not within the scope of the Act. (Section 17 of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services)
